Sophia African Hair Braiding was born from a simple belief: every Black woman deserves a braider who treats her hair like it's her own. From our first client in Dayton to the hundreds of women, men and children we've styled since, that promise hasn't changed.
We're a full-service African hair braiding salon offering knotless braids, box braids, boho braids, cornrows, faux locs and more — installed with clean parts, gentle tension, and the kind of hospitality that makes a 6-hour appointment feel like an afternoon with family.
